       The Bernard Baus Chair in Chemistry

 

The Department of Chemistry at Tulane University seeks to hire a highly creative and productive individual to fill the Bernard Baus Chair in Chemistry which is endowed by contributions from the Baus family and the Louisiana Educational Quality Support Fund.  The department seeks a person with a firmly established reputation of quality research in any area of chemistry.  It is expected that the person filling the position will maintain a high profile, funded research program and will be an active contributor to the development of the research and educational initiatives of the department.  Interested individuals should submit a full curriculum vitae and the names and addresses of three professional references familiar with their research.  Application materials should be submitted to:  Chairman, Department of Chemistry, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA 70118 by November 15th, 2007, although applications received after this date will be considered until the position is filled.  Inquiries regarding the position should be directed to the Chairman, Brent Koplitz, at brent@tulane.eduTulane University is an AA/EOE  Employer.
