Thank you for considering Tulane University.  This website is dedicated to providing useful information related to graduate studies at Tulane for current students and prospective students.   Graduate education is a journey unlike any other.  The graduates of our program have been successful in many professions.  A significant number of the Ph.D. graduates hold faculty positions at colleges and universities, while most of the others are involved in research and development in private industry or government laboratories.

A website such as this cannot reflect the personality of a department, but perhaps we can touch on some of the unique features of graduate study in chemistry at Tulane University.

The department has undergone many dynamic changes.  Several new faculty members have joined the rest of the department in its dedication to enhancing our graduate program.  Several of our faculty and student members have in recent years received recognition for their and research contributions.

Whether a prospective graduate student, an undergraduate contemplating a major in chemistry or biological chemistry or a scientist interested in postdoctoral or faculty positions, we appreciate your interest in Tulane and hope that you will find our programs and research opportunities particularly attractive.
